Kaarma antique https://revalstone.com/en/product/kaarma-antique/ Thu, 14 Aug 2025 07:45:58 +0000 https://revalstone.com/shop/?post_type=product&p=17372 Own quarries, own production!

This dolomite is quarried on the island of Saaremaa near Kuressaare and it's also known as Saaremaa marble. This dolomite with colours ranging from light grey to bluish-grey formed more than 400 million years ago. This dolomite is not sorted by colour or pattern. Here you can read more about this stone with a distinguished history of use.

The antique or brushed surface finish is achieved by using special brushes that remove the stone’s softer part and highlight its natural texture. The surface feels “leathery” when touched and is seldom smooth or shiny. This gives the stone a slightly worn or “historical” appearance that mimics the natural wear that has occurred over time. The brushed surface finish is also practical – smaller usage marks do not stand out as easily as on a honed stone.

Dolomite Kaarma is characterized by its pores (their diameter can be up to 15 mm). In case of products made of Kaarma antique, the pores will not be filled.

The thickness of these floor tiles is 15 mm (for 60 × 60 cm tiles 20 mm).

Dolomite Kaarma is also available with honed surface finish.

You can also order skirting stones and window sills made of the same material.

You can read more about the delivery costs here.

NB! In order to familiarize yourself with the material, you can order a 20 x 20 cm sample.

This fine crystalline dolomite is found in massive layers up to one meter thick. It is known that natural stone from Kaarma has been used at least from the 13th century, when it was used to build the local Kaarma church. Later, the stone was also used in Tallinn, Riga, and beyond.

The dolomite from Kaarma is also known as Saaremaa marble.

The slip resistance of honed dolomite Kaarma is as follows: 68.1 for dry surface and 57.9 for wet surface. Both numbers correspond to rating P5 (R13). The ratings P5/R13 indicate greatest level of slip resistance and very low risk of slip. Tests were performed in the Stone Pole Oy laboratory in Finland.

Reval patterned https://revalstone.com/en/product/reval-patterned/ Mon, 28 Apr 2025 04:43:40 +0000 https://revalstone.com/shop/?post_type=product&p=17144 Own quarries, own production!

Reval patterned refers to the material with a more striking pattern than usual that has been sorted out while processing limestone Reval. This very distinct pattern is characterized by bluish-gray and brownish spots here and there. Compared to the classic limestone Reval, this stone has more character.

In the case of Reval patterned we can only offer the products we already have in stock (meaning that we can’t produce according to order). The selection includes floor tiles and skirtings with honed surfaces.

The thickness of Reval kirju floor tiles is 10 mm.

Our classic limestone Reval floor tiles are available with honed surface and brushed antique surface. You can also order skirtings made of the same material.

You can read more about transport prices here

NB! To get to know this stone, you can order a 20 × 20 cm sample.

The long tradition of using limestone Reval and its popularity is confirmed by the fact that large projects using this stone have been created from the 13th century (Tallinn’s fortifications and houses of Tallinn old town) and until today (Kumu art museum).

It has been used as a good building stone for centuries in the old towns of Tallinn and St Petersburg and it’s still popular.

In the Scandinavian market, the names Lindholmen and Estlandia Kalksten are also used for this stone.

The slip resistance of honed limestone Reval is as follows: 55.7 for dry surface and 35.6 for wet surface. The dry surface value corresponds to rating P5 (R13) and the wet surface value corresponds to P3 (R11). The ratings P5/R13 indicate greatest level of slip resistance and very low risk of slip. The ratings P3/R11 indicate moderate risk of slip. Tests were performed in the Stone Pole Oy laboratory in Finland.

Irregular stone slabs https://revalstone.com/en/product/irregular-stone-slabs/ Wed, 11 Sep 2024 12:05:12 +0000 https://revalstone.com/shop/product/irregular-stone-slabs/ Irregular stone slabs are an excellent choice for garden design, offering natural, different-looking and durable solutions that will last years. The slabs made of Estonian dolomite stones Kaarma, Orgita and Selgase have been produced in our factory on the island of Saaremaa. Every slab is unique, having distinctive natural characteristics and textures that will add character and rurality to your outdoor areas.

The size of most of the slabs is between 0.5 to 1 m2, but there may be larger and/or smaller pieces. Dolomite is easy to process, and it is simple to cut the slabs on-site and break them into smaller pieces if required. There may be natural cracks in the slabs.

The surface of the wire-cut irregular stone slabs is slightly rough. This gives them their natural look and guarantees a good grip, making them ideal for outdoor use. In addition to that, our dolomites have proven themselves with good frost (freeze/thaw) resistance.

These irregular dolomite slabs are a perfect choice if you are looking for something natural and durable for your garden project or stone pavement (it is not suitable for driving on with a car).

Product benefits

 • Produced of Estonian material: Kaarma, Orgita or Selgase dolomite.
 • Natural and durable material that has good frost resistance.
 • Unique irregular design that gives each slab a distinctive look.
 • A rough wire-cut surface guarantees a good grip.
 • Is ideal for creating stone paths and courtyards.
 • We can produce slabs with different thicknesses.

Prices

It is possible to order slabs with thicknesses starting from 40 mm.

 • Dolomite Kaarma: 65€ EUR/m² (price without VAT).
 • Dolomite Orgita: 78€ EUR/m² (price without VAT).

Countertops https://revalstone.com/en/product/countertops/ Fri, 14 Jan 2022 09:18:54 +0000 https://revalstone.com/shop/?post_type=product&p=3050 Own quarries, own production!

The countertops are available in three options: dolomite Orgita (honed) and limestone Reval (antique and honed). These materials differ by the maximum length of the countertop – for dolomite Orgita the maximum length is 200 cm and for limestone Reval it is 220 cm (contact us if you want to order a longer countertop). The maximum width of countertops is 63 cm. Before you start ordering, we recommend you read the instructions below.

In addition to countertops, you can also order natural stone floor tiles, skirting boards, and window sills.

NB! In order to familiarize yourself with the materials you can order a 20 x 20 cm sample.

Сообщение Countertops появились сначала на Reval Stone online shop.

]]>
First, choose the material and its thickness (2 cm or 3 cm). Then enter the number of details you wish to order and the width and length of each detail (the thickness of the backsplash details is always 2 cm). Then enter all the other information for ALL details (in total): the length of edges to be processed (in centimeters) and the number of various holes.

You have two options for holes for sinks: a top-mounted sink (no need to process the edges of the hole as the sink will cover them) and an under-glued sink (the edges of the hole are honed and the top edge has a small bevel). In the case of Orgita dolomite, it is possible to cut larger holes (e.g. for sinks and stovetops) to the countertop if the thickness is 3 cm.

In the end, you can add comments and files to your order. Be sure to add a drawing as accurate as possible – this way we can process all the necessary edges and cut the holes in the right places. The producers of sinks and stovetops often provide drawings for the installation. If you have already chosen the sink and stovetop, please add the drawing of the hole (provided by the respective producer) to the order.

Since limestone is a fragile material, you should take into account that at least 6.5 cm will remain between the hole to be cut and the edge of the countertop. Otherwise, there is a very big chance that the countertop will break during delivery or installation.

After you have submitted the order, we will review it and adjust the price if necessary (if the information entered differs from the data on the drawings). In order to guarantee that the countertops won’t break during delivery, they will be put on special pallets. Therefore, the delivery cost also includes a 40€ extra charge per pallet (the price does not include VAT).

If, for some reason, you are unable to add the required details to the shopping cart, or you have questions concerning placing an order, please contact us at shop@revalstone.com.

Window sills https://revalstone.com/en/product/window_sills/ Wed, 27 Oct 2021 05:59:43 +0000 https://revalstone.com/shop/?post_type=product&p=2208 Own quarries, own production!

The window sills are available in four Estonian natural stones: dolomites Kaarma (two surface finishes), Orgita, and Selgase and limestone Reval (two surface finishes). All the materials have the same price, but depending on the material the maximum length of the window sill can vary. In order to purchase a longer window sill, the solution is to order the window sill in two parts (usually it is done in two equal parts). The maximum width (depth) of all window sills is 63 cm.

To order a window sill made of limestone or dolomite first select the material and then the thickness (2 cm or 3 cm). After that, enter the length and width of the window sill into respective fields (in centimeters). Then the system will display the price and you can add the window sill to the shopping cart. After that, you can enter new measurements to order another window sill (if required).

In addition to window sills, floor tiles, skirtings, and countertops made of the same natural stones are available in our online shop.

NB! In order to familiarize yourself with the materials you can order a 20 x 20 cm sample.

Window sills have the following surface finish. The top surface, front surface, and 10 cm on both sides of the window sill have been processed (in the case of Reval antique it has been brushed and in the case of all other materials it has been honed). In addition to that, the front edge and 10 cm of the side edges have a 2 mm chamfered edge.

Dolomite Kaarma is characterized by its pores. As a rule, the products made from this material have unfilled pores and their diameter can be up to 15 mm. We can fill these pores at the customer’s request — please inform us about this when placing the order. This service costs 10€/m².

To make sure that the window sills won’t break during transportation, they will be packaged on a special pallet. Therefore, the delivery cost of window sills also includes a 40€ additional charge (without VAT) per pallet.

If for some reason you are unable to add a suitable window sill to the shopping cart or if you have any questions concerning placing your order, contact us at shop@revalstone.com.
